Wireless video surveillance is perfect combination of surveillance and wireless network technology. It concludes in detail: sending-end device in the system compresses and packs video, audio and data, then transfer it in the wireless network; receiving-end device receives it via the explorer or special surveillance software on the PC, or decompresses it through dedicated hardware and then display it on the monitor. By means of wireless transmission, Image information of monitored spots is sent to the surveillance centre in an exact, clear and quick manner. Surveillance centre gets information about all monitored spots in real time via surveillance software, and makes corresponding response and settlement according to actual situation.

System Configuration
According to requirements of surveillance project, we establish the whole network with three components: surveillance front-end devices, wireless network transmission equipment and general surveillance centre. Surveillance front-end devices realize distributed audio and video access, connect the nearest surveillance video to network through HangHe HH500X series of network video encoders. Wireless transmission network is used to realize distributed share,transfer digital signal to surveillance centres through wireless network. General surveillance Centre implements intensive management, controls and dispatches video connection and access service through special video servers.
Configuration of Surveillance Spots
Surveillance spots are mainly composed of HH500X series of network video encoders, Pan/Tilt controllers,cameras and alarm devices. Under the central video server’s control, network video encoders compress and process surveillance video signal in real time and then transmit the signal through the nearest network. They are also well prepared to receive control commands from image client ends or image control boards to implement video switch, operation control of Pan/Tilt and Zoom Lens as well as setting of local parameters.
Wireless Transmission Network
It is mainly composed of HH800 broadband wireless access equipment and wireless linkers made up of corresponding antenna feeders,realize the transmission of surveillance video,data collection and share.?
HH800 broadband wireless access system is an easy-to-use, plug-and-play wireless communication device supplying good outdoor wireless network service for users in neighbouring buildings within 3 kilometres. It is divided into base station, CPE and relay unit that can make up both point-to point and point-to-multi-point wireless network. The point-to-multi-point transmission distance can be up to 3 kilometres,and the point-to-point transmission distance can be up to 26 kilometres.
Another feature of HH800 broad band wireless access system is transparent to all network platforms. Support several main network operating systems (WIN2000, UNIX, NETWARE) without installing any software drive.
General Surveillance Centre
General Surveillance Centre is mainly composed of video surveillance server, video transition server, video storage server, HH6104 decoder card,HH5104 network video decoder,etc. The video surveillance server is used to manage and control front-end surveillance video in the whole system (including image switch, Pan/Tilt control and Zoom Lens control of surveillance spots), and can also be used to decoder multi channels network video via built-in HH6104 decoder card to implement real-time video display and surveillance on TV wall. Video transition server is mainly used to receive and transit video streaming data and realize multi-level cascade and expansion of system. Video storage server is used to implement central storage of all surveillance video as well as search and playback of video data. The system can divide different surveillance spots into several different access levels according types of users. Users with highest priority have authorization enough to control video image, and users with lower priority only allowed to see the image, and uses with higher priority can override control rights of the images.
Application of Networking
This wireless surveillance system is based on broad band wireless network, can transmit high quality H.264 images at a speed of 25 frames per second without delay more than 300 milliseconds.
